market research pitch 2026

In our updated market reports, you will find everything you need

The quantum software market is attracting funding across algorithms, development tools, simulation platforms, error correction, optimization, and quantum cloud software.

We conducted deep research and collected 22 quantum software funding deals announced between Q1 2024 and Q2 2026.

We refresh this page very often to add new quantum software funding deals and update existing information.

Insights

  • The 21 quantum software deals with disclosed amounts raised at least $786.5 million. QSimulate also announced financing, but the company did not disclose the size of the round.
  • Quantum software companies raised at least $509.9 million in 2025. This represents about 65% of all disclosed funding in this list.
  • Multiverse Computing raised the largest quantum software round, with $215 million in Q2 2025. The round represented more than one-quarter of all disclosed funding.
  • The three largest quantum software deals came from Multiverse Computing, Classiq, and Horizon Quantum. Together, the three deals raised $435 million.
  • The three largest deals represented about 55% of disclosed quantum software funding. This shows that investment was concentrated in a small number of large platforms.
  • The median disclosed quantum software deal was about $11.1 million. This means that most rounds were much smaller than the largest funding announcements.
  • Quantum error management attracted several large rounds. Riverlane raised $75 million, Q-CTRL raised $59 million, and QEDMA raised $26 million.
  • Quantum software funding expanded beyond core programming tools. Investors also backed chemistry software, engineering simulation, AI compression, optimization, and post-quantum security.
  • Early-stage quantum software companies continued to attract capital in 2026. Qoro Quantum, QMatter, Haiqu, and Algorithmiq raised a combined $33.5 million.

Summary table of the funding deals for the quantum software market since 2024

We define the quantum software market as software tools, algorithms, and platforms used to develop, simulate, optimize, or run quantum computing workflows.

It includes Quantum Algorithms, Quantum Development Tools, Quantum Error Correction Software, Quantum Simulation Software, Optimization Software, and Quantum Cloud Platforms.

It excludes broader adjacent markets unless the product is built specifically for this use case.

We focused exclusively on pure players, defined as companies with at least 70–80% of their business directly tied to the quantum software market.

Our analysis has been done at a global level with a minimum funding threshold of $300k.

If you want a longer-term view, we also have a study of how funding activity in the quantum software market has changed over the years.
