- The 65 telemedicine market deals raised about $2.2 billion in total. Funding increased sharply in 2026, with more than $1 billion announced in only six months.
- Telemedicine market funding became more concentrated in larger rounds. Five companies raised at least $100 million in 2026, compared with no deals above $100 million in 2024 or 2025.
- Mental health remains a major telemedicine market category. Talkiatry, Tava Health, Blossom Health, InStride Health, Nema Health, and several other providers attracted significant funding.
- Women’s health is another active telemedicine market segment. Pomelo Care, Midi Health, Visana Health, Allara Health, Alloy Women’s Health, and SimpliFed all secured new capital.
- Investors are supporting specialized virtual clinics rather than only general telemedicine platforms. Funded areas include neurology, sleep care, digestive health, obesity, nutrition, autoimmune disease, and addiction treatment.
- Artificial intelligence is becoming more visible in the telemedicine market. Many recent companies use AI for medical triage, clinical support, patient messaging, remote monitoring, or administrative work.
