- Regenerative medicine companies raised about $1.37 billion in the first half of 2026, almost matching the total recorded during the whole of 2025.
- Gene therapy and cell therapy remain the main investment areas, but investors are also supporting manufacturing, tissue engineering, exosomes, and regenerative biologics.
- The largest regenerative medicine deal was Kriya Therapeutics' $320 million Series D, followed by Cellares at $257 million and Serapha Bio at $230 million.
