market research pitch 2026

In our updated market reports, you will find everything you need

The cloud infrastructure market is attracting large investments as demand grows for AI computing, cloud storage, databases, networking, security, and developer platforms.

We conducted deep research and collected 76 cloud infrastructure funding deals announced between Q1 2024 and Q2 2026.

We refresh this cloud infrastructure market page very often to add new fundraising deals and update existing information.

Insights

  • The 76 cloud infrastructure funding deals in this list represent almost $17 billion in announced financing between Q1 2024 and Q2 2026.
  • The cloud infrastructure market moved toward larger rounds. Listed funding increased from about $4.0 billion in 2024 to $4.9 billion in 2025.
  • Q1 and Q2 2026 already produced more than $8.1 billion in listed cloud infrastructure funding, largely because of the $5 billion Blackstone-Google TPU Cloud joint venture.
  • AI compute companies attracted some of the largest cloud infrastructure funding rounds, including Crusoe, Nscale, Lambda, TensorWave, and PaleBlueDot AI.
  • Cloud infrastructure investors are funding more than GPU capacity. Databases, storage, networking, security, deployment tools, and AI-agent infrastructure also received significant capital.
  • Supabase appears three times in the cloud infrastructure funding list, with rounds of $80 million, $100 million, and $500 million between 2024 and 2026.
  • Several cloud infrastructure companies raised larger follow-on rounds within two years. Fireworks AI moved from $52 million in 2024 to $250 million in 2025.
  • Cloud security remains an important part of the cloud infrastructure market. Wiz, Cyera, Upwind, Sweet Security, Native Security, and other specialists raised major rounds.
  • Developer-focused cloud platforms also gained momentum. Render, Railway, Vercel, Modal, Northflank, Qovery, and E2B reduce the work required to deploy modern software.
  • The cloud database segment remains active across several models, including serverless Postgres, vector databases, real-time analytics, NoSQL systems, and financial transaction databases.

Summary table of the funding deals for the cloud infrastructure market since 2024

We define the cloud infrastructure market as compute, storage, networking, and developer infrastructure used to run modern software and AI workloads.

It includes Hyperscale Cloud Platforms, Cloud Compute Services, Cloud Storage Services, Cloud Networking, Cloud Security Services, and Cloud Databases.

It excludes broader adjacent markets unless the product is built specifically for this use case.

We focused exclusively on pure players, defined as companies with at least 70-80% of their business directly tied to the cloud infrastructure market.

Our analysis has been done at a global level with a minimum funding threshold of $300k.

If you want a longer-term view, we also have a study of how funding activity in the cloud infrastructure market has changed over the years.
